If your children has been diagnose with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Delay (PDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), Dyslexia, Language Delays and Communication disorders, you might want to check Auditory Integration Training (AIT).
Auditory Integration Training is a method of retraining the ear. The AIT uses filtered and modulated music to help normalize and improve hearing disorders. Through this method, the sensory processing will vastly improve and it helps the brain process auditory information. There has been many studies which show that AIT improves speech and language, behavior and learning, mood and social skills.
Sound Therapy Learning Center is the pioneer in offering Auditory Integration Training in the Philippines since March 2008. It is only one of the two centers here in the Philippines that practice AIT.
AIT is comprised of 20 sessions. Each session lasts for 30 minutes and there are two sessions a day with a minimum of 3 hour period in between sessions. The programs are individualized for each person based on a pre-screening evaluation.
Sound Therapy Learning Center is located at Unit 7 3rd Floor The Promenade Bldg at San Juan. You may check their website http://soundtherapy.ph or through their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/aitph for more information.
