Going beyond giving regular orientation on autism for their mall service frontliners, SM further advanced their support for our advocacy by sponsoring an introductory  talk on Auditory Integration Technique. 

Last  February 2, 2008,  Cinema 6 of SM Mall of Asia  was filled with around 400 parents, professionals, students and SM personnel.  Annabel Stehli (author of Dancing in the Rain ) and her daughter Georgiana Thomas  shared with the audience their personal experiences on dealing with autism in the family. 

In addition to ASP, other partner organizations for this event were Philippine Association for Behavior Analysis, AutismPinoy, Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines and ADHD Society. 

ASP  thanks Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Stephanie Borbe for bringing Annabel Stehli and her daughter Georgiana to the Philippines;  and of course,  the SM Management Corporation, headed by President Ms. Annie Garcia and Engr. Bien Mateo, the Vice President for Operations and Head of SM's Disability Committee for hosting this event.
